Truth & Rights Artist Management was forged out of the bond of two friends who found themselves in a position to help local Coloradoans establish their craft for a wider audience. Nicholas Henkel and Kevin White first met when working on street level promotion for Silverback Management, home to Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Long Beach Shortbus, and Dubcat. As their working relationship grew, so did a friendship that included long discussions on the state of the current climate within the recording industry. Seeing a need for a return to basics, with no reliance on mainstream radio or television, Kevin and Nicholas founded Truth & Rights in the hopes of establishing a grassroots promotion house by which friends could help other friends reach a larger demographic of listeners within Colorado and the nation. Serving as a consultant to the artists they represent, Truth & Rights core services provide a great value through full-service marketing, publicity, contract negotiation, ASCAP and copyright services, booking and career management. Through their mutual network partners, Truth & Rights has grown and established itself as one of the premiere, independent artist management and consulting firms in the state. With the debut release from Educated Figures, Truth & Rights is poised to establish the EFK circle as the most innovative Hip Hop acts to have ever come out of Colorado.
