Tia has paid her dues in the underground scene for several years and has built up an impressive reputation with the streets, listeners, the media and the fans.

Tia’s debut released appearance was alongside Okayhater partner ALX on the B-side 12:inch “Triumphin”, produced by worldfamous DMC champion DJ Noize.

The 12” was distributed by Walboomers Music and Run For Cover Records, and received enormous interest being played on national radio (P3 Hip Hop in Sweden and Denmark) frequently, which resulted in thousands of record sales.

MC Tia and ALX continued to release tracks on mixtapes and compilations through their indie label Okayhater around Europe, and built up stage presence with each show they pursued.

In 2004 Tia moved to Stockholm, Sweden and appeared on various cd’s, magazine features (such as Hip Hop magazine Kingsize) to releasing independant netplays which all have reached 10, 000 downloads.

MC Tia has her bags filled with experience and is known to be one of the most REAL mc’s out there. She doesn’t compromize for major labels or small time players..she truely speaks from the heart.

The debut EP which is expected to drop August 2006 will feature a variety of producers from Sweden, Denmark, UK and France including US rap legend Mr.Complex
