about eric b....

I’ve been a hip-hop fan for years. Ever since I heard Kraftwerk’s Tour de France back in the day when I was break dancing in 5th grade, I began to develop an ear for Afrika Bambaataa, Grand Master Flash, etc. Hip-hop culture interested me from day one for it’s togetherness and commradery- kind of like the movie Beat Street and Breakin’ to name a few.

About evo in Seattle:

evo explores the collaboration between culture and sport by seamlessly joining fashion, music, art, skiing, snowboarding, and SKATEBOARDING. Our aim is to dial into the urban energy surrounding Seattle, and more specifically Fremont while promoting the sports and brands we represent creatively.

Passion for building community is a driving force; both on a national level and locally here in Seattle. We are excited about the opportunity to become a community anchor here in an urban setting with diverse groups of people who share common interests. Music events, movie premiers, art exhibitions, slide shows, in-store skate contests, demos, partnerships and plain providing a great place in a central location are all going to be effective components to build community. It is no mistake that our location is a venue, art gallery, and retail space all wrapped into one. We hope it becomes your space too.
