Born: Jason Werner DJ Icepick is an aspiring and soon to be successful hip hop artist. Hes been writing for as long as hes been alive, but really started rhyming about a year ago. However, even though he had a late start, Icepick’s still making moves as a solo artist and released his first solo album on June 2nd. This album “Educated Emcee” sold over 700 copies nationwide within the first pressing. It was originally released under Khyng Jayden Productions, an indie label outa Cleveland, but shall be rereleased this fall with a new and improved package, under his own label White Diamond Productions. This Album features seventeen tracks, all of them heat, and can also be obtained in a chopped and screwed remix album, if dats what u diggin… DJ Icepick is currently working on his second album “Digital Rhymepad” which will also be released under WDP in time for the christmas rush, so be shure to give the gift that keeps on giving…. DJ Icepick grew up in the streets of Portland, and after a divorce of his parents was relocated to his grandmother’s residence in Rockaway. Five years passed, and he now resides with his mother in Rockaway Beach, but P-town will always be his home. The greatest irony of Icepicks career is that both of his parents are hearing impaired, and will never have the fortune of having their eardrums blessed with the works of their oldest son.
