DJ Bacon is a music lover who began collecting vinyl at the age of 12. Genres he is particularly passionate about include Hip Hop, funk, soul and electro. Since 1998, he has independently produced, released and distributed a string of mix CD’s that have gained him much respect as an original and motivated DJ who is constantly pushing the boundaries and setting new benchmarks within the Hip Hop community.
His career highlights include performing at some of Australia’s best venues and festivals alongside artists such as Grandmaster Flash, Ugly Duckling, Hilltop Hoods, DJ Dexter, Resin Dogs, Downsyde, Scribe, Spiderbait and TZU.
DJ Bacon recently released an epic old school mix CD (August 2004), This Year, Suckers Are Goin Nowhere! The mix includes an exclusive b boy mix for the Gravity Warriors crew plus a sneak preview of the Briztronix LP.
With partner Shazam, Bacon recently released the Briztronix LP (October 2005) It is now available free to download @ www.briztronix.com.
