I am the co-owner/producer of an independent company that produces, distributes, and sells a DVD Magazine (BBDM). BBDM will prove to be a new and innovative medium in which the hip-hop community can communicate with the public. This digital magazine will focus on artist interviews and live performance footage as well as rare insight into all the elements of hip-hop. The magazine will also have advertising opportunities for any/all parties relevant to the subject matter of the DVD. BBDM will be distributed in a monthly feature that will provide promotional opportunities for all participating parties. BBDM will be distributed at first in California through various record stores, clothing stores, concerts and other places related to hip-hop. BBDM will also be distributed nationally/internationally through the BreakBeat Digital Magazine website.
BBDM’s core objective is to promote the artists and their album in a positive way as well as give their fans a chance to learn more about them. We feel all artists chosen for BBDM represent Hip-Hop in its purest form. We hope to show that talent counts more than money when it comes to quality hip hop. The founders of BBEnterprises, Warren “The Realz” Longsworth, Hugh Talman and Peter Nikolaev, are dedicated to the preservation of hip-hop culture with the portrayal of the music and art in a positive light.
