about Raf7...

I’m Polish. I have lived in the US for a few years and now I’m back in Poland. My journey with music began at the beginning of 2006. I try to do “my own thing”, even though it’s not easy to express feelings through the music. I collaborate with some other Polish producers and MC’s…

Raf7's favorite...

artists:

I mainly listen to Polish hip-hop artists (PFK, K44, K.A.S.T.A., Eldo, etc), but from the US I respect Kanye West, Biggie, DJ Premier, DJ Krush, Cypress Hill...

albums:

Also Polish albums... US: "College Dropout", "Life After Death", "Illmatic"

movies:

"Secret Window", "The Pianist", "The Shawshank Redemption", and Polish comedies :)

books:

Stephen King's "The Green Mile"

Hip-hop quote:

I have many great quotes in Polish, but here's one from Biggie: “…I can't believe suicide's on my fuckin' mind, I want to leave, I swear to God I feel like death is fuckin' callin' me, Naw you wouldn't understand...”

Thanks for the request, much respect on your beats being orig., but the only advice I have to help make you better is to switch it up a lil’ bit. Not trying to change your style but get a lil more creative w/the beats within the beats. Also don’t make everything sound so dark. I’m not saying sell out and make some garbage one hit wonder club type track but get a lil smooth w/it to. You listen to Premier, he is one of my favorite producers, review some of his style with the smooth mellow chill out joints, plus your playing your own music, so you don’t have to sample, strings, horns, etc. test out somethings. Keep up the good work and always keep grinding to be better. A-Sharp www.myspace.com/manonfyah

Thanks for the comment, I have been doing music altogether since I was 8 years. My father was a singer/songerwriter & musician. He taught me everything I know and along the way making more of the switch to Dj/Producing than just playing instruments. I 31 so I have a lot of years of exp. I grew up listening to the REAL HIP -HOP before it became the sour garbage it is today! I do sample as well too, I love to dig in the crates aswell as make original tracks. Much Respect for being able to accept constructive criticism, it’s really refreshing to see that someone really is accepting to advice. K.I.T and always keep grinding to get better. A-Sharp
