PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
DJ Classic started his DJ career in
1992 and began working heavily in the club / rave scene
in 1995. His astounding level of flexibility and crowd appeal
has earned him both positive acclaim and recognition throughout
the competitive nightclub industry. He has played for crowds
up and down the west coast and has performed with well-known
house DJ’s like Donald Glaude, Tony Humphries, “Lil” Louis
Vega, as well as performed during concerts for many urban
/ hip-hop heavyweights like KRS-One, Digital Underground, E-40 and Sir Mix-A-Lot (just to name a few).
MUSICAL
STYLES
Although DJ Classic can play virtually
any style of music, he typically prefers playing Hip-Hop
(all styles) and Deep House. Other musical styles in his
repertoire include Reggae / Dancehall, Jungle (Drum N Bass),
Old School Funk, Disco, Old School Breaks, and Old School
Techno. He currently maintains an extensive catalogue of
over 9000 records and counting, providing him a wide range
of music from which to choose.
