For all intents & purposes, the Wu-Tang Clan era ended in 1997.
Yes, they’ve released three albums since then, gone on tour, and individual members still show up to each others shows and as guests stars on each others albums. But the Clan has forgotten the most important component to their group success - coming together to form like Voltron was what made them invincible. Group dissension and the varied star profiles and reputations of the group members (aka jealousy and envy) got into the gearworks.
But as the Wu era was ending, little did we know we were entering a new era in rap. The Ghostface era.
