Classic EPMD video of You Gots to Chill. EPMD ("Erick and Parrish Making Dollars"), Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith, grew up together on Long Island, NYC. In 1987, EPMD released “It’s My Thing” b/w “You’re a Customer” on Sleeping Bag Records (a subsidiary of Fresh Records), which sold 500,000 copies. “You Gots to Chill” was released on the Gold album, Strictly Business, in 1988 and it hit #22 on the R&B charts.
