Kid Rock (Real Name: Robert James Ritchie) was arrested on charges of misdemeanor battery early Sunday morning (October 21st, 2007) in DeKalb County, Georgia, after he and his entourage allegedly beat up a man at a Waffle House, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Kid Rock was released later Sunday after posting a $1,000 bond. The Associated Press reports that he spent 12 hours in jail, posting the bond around 5 pm.
