Nas Renames Album Title To "Nigger"
Nas says you shouldn't believe anything you've heard about Def Jam. In fact, he insists he hasn't come across any resistance from the label. The name of the LP has changed slightly, though. He's going all the way there: It's now called Nigger, and it is set to hit stores December 11.

Just stirring up controversy to make album sales… “Hip-hop is dead” all over again. I’m so tired of rappers resorting to cheap tricks to get people’s attention and not just letting the music speak for itself. I guess this is what it takes in today’s market.
I’ll still probably get the album anyways.
Nas dosent need controversy to sell albums but it is a good stratigy to get people to listen and address some issues. I wont judge it till I hear the album.
