For those ‘Herbs’ on here who know nothing about The game(THATS HIP HOP )...You make real money in music when you build a label..That means signing artist(Dre signed ‘Em’—‘Em’ signed 50…Em signs Lloyd Banks..Dre gets paid from THEM ALL . Does that make Dre smarter than EM? NO. That just means Dre was First and capitalized. /.Jay Z signs Kanye West..Kanye signs Lupe and so on and so on).. All the while you brand yourself further by pushing a clothing line, or designing cars. lending your name to marketing campaigns(Jay Z to Budweiser, Jay Z to the NBA .. Jay-Z to HP, 50 to Vitamin Water, Kanye to Ralph Lauren, Diddy to everything)
The Person, on this list that is most fascinating(whether you love him or hate him) because he really has no outstanding musical talen, is Sean Combs—-Diddy. He built an empire that has lasted for almost 20 years on nerve, tenacity and smarts.
Its never about who’s the most popular. Its what you do with your popularity. All these men have made something out of their talent. Hip Hop is strong because of it.

You are right COCO .CPT I saw it too, they are #8. Funny how its says #18 on here… whats that about. I know they went by ringtones, but both guys are #8. One other thing, if Russell Simmins rapped he would be #1.
