Crunk Lives: Webster's Dictionary Says So

- news link from birdswitharms, about 1 year ago

Crunk made the cut, but Hyphy did not. Webster's Dictionary now has a definition for "crunk."

The only real requirement for a word being included in Webster's is the likelihood of it being found in printed media like books, magazines and newspapers, according to Peter Sokolowski, an associate of Webster's.

Though Weebster's acknowledged that "crunk" can mean many different things, the defintion chosen was, "a style of Southern rap music featuring repetitive chants and rapid dance rhythms."
