I woke up in the middle of the night to write this, that´s how bad it bothers me to read that some black Americans think Barack Obama is not black enough to be president.



I´m a black American, living in Germany, and look up to the sky and say, "Thank God for America".



I look at the newspaper and see no blacks. I look at the TV and see no blacks, except those they import from America, major stars. But not local.



And a German reporter once said to me: "We don´t need blacks all upon our TV".



I met another black American actress who worked ten years behind the German television scene waiting for her chance. But sadly found out that she could be waiting for centuries because of the group who are neither artist or directors, just plain folks with the mentality from 1945, "Germany only for Germans. They decide who goes on their Television, and obviously feel the same as the reporter.



So back to USA, where California has a foreign governor who can barely speak English, and Obama, an American, is not black enough to be president. Yet George Bush was an alcoholic, whose own mama didn´t believe he´d be elected. But he was, because the hypocrites wanted Clinton out, since he so arrogantly was given some head under the table. Does the Consitution say a president can´t get head while working? and at that time the blacks said, "Clinton is as close as we´ll get to a black president." Yet, Obama is not black enough.......Hello!



Anyway, I also remember before I left USA, on TV a group of blacks felt a white family who had adopted a black baby "was not black enough". So after a year he was taken away from this family,screaming and reaching for his white mother, the only real mother he´s known, and given to a black family. Months later he was beaten to death.



A black singer goes on capitol hill to bad-mouth Snoop Dogg - like these law-makers really needed her help in dissing a black man. And then a major comedian complains publicly that Martin, the comedian, swears too much. Yet this same major comedian chippied on his wife.



Another hypocrite.



Now you have blacks saying Obama is not black enough. I don´t know too many blacks who are not multi-racial. I´m black, American Indian and Jewish. My mother was high-yellow, but that didn´t stop her from being discriminated against.



And Nelson Mandela, Rosa Parks and Obama - and whole lot of others - are the same color. But no body has questioned whether Mandela or Parks are black enough. And while all these hypocrites bitch about swearing, "it gives a bad example to our children", what kind of example does "he is not black enough" give all the mixed children who did not ask to come into this world - who are discriminated against because they are "not white enough" and now told they also are not black enough? Clarence Thomas looks like he came straight off the boat. Is he black enough for ya?
