Under instruction to remove all graffiti creating an atmosphere of "neglect and social decay", workmen in London have whitewashed a Banksy mural estimated to be worth 300,000 British pounds ($AU 719,000). I can hardly believe this. I was in London about 5 years ago and made a special trip just to see this piece. Someone needs to be fired for issuing this order. They should have taken the building down brick by brick and put this in the Tate Modern. Good luck trying to sell your building ever now. The Banksy curse is on you now.
