Obscene Messages Put End To Legal Graffiti Experiment
Local officials tried to give graffiti artists a legal place to practice their craft, but now they say that experiment is over. Two concrete walls on Market Street under Interstate 65 were part of a project rolled out in October. The year-long project is ending six months early because obscene messages were found on the wall and on nearby buildings and sidewalks.
