Rap Nihilism a la 50 Cent and Cam’ron
I know I’m mad late in talking about this quasi-conflict between Cam and 50, but honestly I wasn’t sure if it merited a BreezBlog given the two contestants’ histories. 50 is a tried and true megalomaniac, who uses his ascendancy to super-stardom to justify any and all of his rash decisions. Cam is a would-be star, who burned out long ago when he relinquished his rhyme skills to talk about candy paint and the color pink. I doubt Cam could’ve ever handled the pressure of being a noteworthy emcee so he made a decisive retreat just when folks thought he should enter the upper stratus of his genre.
